This week I have worked on some side project for the main website.
1. new pop-up box
- Reduce the amount of work for users
- Make the title simple
- Add an icon for visual understanding
- Darken the background when showing the overlay so that attention is on the overlay
header to request the syllabus and apply now
2. Fixed header
Two Call to Actions on top and highlight the “Apply” Button
When the user clicks on request syllabus, we can ask them to input name & email and send syllabus to their email address
Reduce the number of anchor points: Highlight, Speaker, Students Get Hired
(the content can still live on the page for now)
All of the three tabs are not being used in the other three competitors
Highlight can be part of overview (Doesn’t need the title highlight.)
Speaker can be merged with Instructors
Students Get Hired can be merged with Career Services, doesn’t need to show two anchor points with
3. Detailed student outcome story page
Please note that the outcome page here is for detailed student outcome story, make sure to differentiate from the general outcome page.
Move the “Blog” into “about us”, so that the header is not overwhelming
Add “Alumni Story” next to “Online”
Alumni Page often next to course information because it is information students want to see
