This week I have worked on revising the job portal, specially for the dashboard. Because the academy is providing career services and want to know the process of students applying, a job tracker is required. There are several steps of applying a job: asking for referral, applying the job, phone interview, coding challenge, on-site interview and more.
For example, the user needs to check "apply job." If the user gets an interview opportunity, he needs to input information like the interview time and contact person. The academy is suggesting the user to schedule one on one meeting with the instructional team so that he can be prepared about the interview.
In the next phase of the interview process, the user needs to prep the interview. The academy is also providing common interview questions for user to look at. Once they have finished the phone interview, the user is asked to finish the form which contains the questions during the interview and his answers. The user can request feedback from the instructor team. Same as the code challenge, the user can also ask for help in terms of preping the challenge. As well as asking for feedback once its done.
