This week I focused on the resume portal project. The platform is for students graduated from the boot camp to be exposed to stakeholders who are willing to hire. The project is about recreating the landing page, the resume landing page, the resume detail page and the resume editing page.
In the landing page, I created two portals, one to the job board which is where stakeholders post jobs, and the other is the resume book where the profiles can be viewed. And in the resume book page, there are thumbnails of the candidates showing some basic information about them including their name, professional experience and skills. The users can use the filter function on the right to apply some criteria.
Clicking into the thumbnails, the users can see a full profile of the candidate. In this page, the users can find basic information, job preferences, more detailed experience of the candidates including projects.
In the resume builder, I broke down all the components into different pages with a breadcrumb locating on the top of the page so that candidates will have a clear clue of how much more info they need to fill out. They can always save their progress. Finally, they will be able to review the whole profile before submitting. Once they submit, there is going to be an overlay showing the team would review the profile before publishing.
